Dear Collegues and Supporters,

We are pleased to announce Hogan Lovells has launched the Community Solar Innovation Awards 2017 for innovative eco-inclusive enterprises utilising solar energy systems or solar technology innovation to improve the lives of poor communities, and that aim to generate environmental, social and economic benefits at the local level.

Sponsored and supported by international law firm Hogan Lovells, there are ten Awards available to the successful winners. Judges will be looking for enterprises from developing countries (non-OECD & non-EU member states) which are locally-led and significantly help the lives of women and girls, particularly those which focus on gender equality or female empowerment.

SEED and Barefoot College are supporting the outreach activities of the Community Solar Innovation Awards 2017. Furthermore the selected enterprises will be invited to the SEED Replicator. Adelphi (host of SEED) is providing assistance to Hogan Lovells for the technical implementation of the award scheme.

Eligible candidates can apply from 21 June 2017 until 16 August 2017, 23:59 Central European Time (CET).

For detailed information please refer to the attached Call for Applications document or visit www.hoganlovellssolaraward.com.

We would be very grateful; if you could share the information to contacts and help us spread the word through your networks, social media and/or include the news in any bulletins or newsletters. We have developed a communications package and video for this purpose.

We would like to thank you in advance for helping us to promote the call for applications.

Kind Regards,
Hogan Lovells Awards Team
