The training primarily targets participants from health disciplines (medicine, public health, nursing, nutrition) but will consider applicants from other schools who demonstrate strong motivation and potential to train others upon completion of the course. The class size is limited to 40 participants.
Prospective participants are requested to register by completing an online form available at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1aZL9-UrrLbN-_t_JgL6l_L8YnmVZUZNERM3IStLIrvs/edit and separately send a motivation statement (100-200 word long) for joining the course sent to director-researchsupport@ku.ac.ke.

The purpose of this course is to teach the basic writing and publishing skills needed for international journals. The skills are usable when doing Master's or PhD thesis, in coordinating any research project and even in writing grant applications
