SAG-SEED Replicator

The SAG-SEED Replicator is targeted at future entrepreneurs who want to start a business but don't have a specific business idea yet, business owners wanting to expand or refine their business model, and NGOs wanting to finance themselves through revenues.

In an unique one-day workshop we enable them to adapt an already existing, proven business model to their local market. Selected future entrepreneurs come together during an one-day Replicator Connect Workshop in Nairobi (27 June 2017), funded by SWITCH Africa Green. For the upcoming SAG-SEED Replicator Connect Workshops, participants can work on cases from the following sectors:
  • Agricultural Product Processing
  • Waste to Industrial Resources
Workshop participants will receive a SAG-SEED Replicator Workbook, which includes readings and valuable data on successful eco-inclusive business models in the chosen sector and a unique toolkit to commence a rapid replication process. Afterwards, participants will be matched with the originators of the business model and receive the possibility to pitch their adapted business idea to successful eco-inclusive enterprises who are looking for replication partners.

In the SAG-SEED Replicator, the participants will be enabled to kick-start their own business in just one day!

The deadline for applications is 13 June 2017. For more information, download the media package, visit www.seed.uno/support/replicator or write us at replicator-kenya@seed.uno.

SAG-SEED Starter

The  SAG-SEED Starter, funded by SWITCH Africa Green, is targeted at future entrepreneurs who have a first business idea and are looking for capacity-building support to turn it into reality. Under expert guidance the selected teams will come together during two workshops in Nairobi (August and September 2017) to develop and refine their business ideas. The period between the two workshops will be used for facilitated testing of the idea with potential customers and partners. After the Starter, the teams will have a proven concept and are ready to engage partners, funders, and go to market. The most promising teams qualify for additional capacity-building support. For an exciting overview of the experience from past Starter Months, read our blog post From workshop to market in seven weeks.

The deadline for applications is 10 July 2017. For more information, download the media package, visit www.seed.uno/support/starter or write us at starter-kenya@seed.uno.

Thank you in advance for helping us spread the word! We are looking forward to jointly increase the impact of eco-inclusive entrepreneurship for sustainable development!

Kind regards,
The SEED Support Team
