Subject: DAAD Call for Applications for Southern African Institutions: Participation as host institution in the In-Country/In-Region Scholarship Programme
To:

To whom it may concern,

DAAD is happy to announce the new Call for Applications for Southern African Institutions to participate as host institutions in the In-Country/In-Region Scholarship Programme.

The In-Country/In-Region programme in developing countries ought to contribute to train highly qualified professionals and managerial staff for sustainable development in the partner countries and for the development of top-quality, cosmopolitan universities. The programme thus offers scholarships to future university teachers from developing countries for postgraduate courses and for doctorates. They study at universities in their home country or at highly qualified institutions in the region, some of which are organized in networks. Affiliation as host institution will be for the intakes 2021-2023.

The application deadline is the 16th of August 2019. Please do not hesitate to forward the announcement to your academic network.

Please find all relevant information, the Call for Applications and all application documents here.
