To: dvc-rio <dvc-rio@ku.ac.ke>

Greetings,
Following the conversation I had with Violet I would like to share the following information with you.

My name is Juliet and I work at Yusudi as the B2B Marketer for Jijali. We are an award winning social enterprise, that focuses on ensuring the youth get their first foot into employment through skills and mindset training. Over the past two years, We have worked with the likes of Blaze BYOB program, Andela, Red Cross and UN Habitat amongst others to implement youth training programs.

We are currently launching a brand new, innovative training program, funded by the Co-operative Foundation and the Finnish Embassy known as Jijali Learning. This is a three month program offering innovative minds between the ages of 18 to 30 years an opportunity to receive online training on Career-start or  Entrepreneurship depending on their career goals. Each participant will have a virtual mentor assigned to them to guide them throughout the program.

We are extending this opportunity to 2000 high-potential students from well renowned universities and youth centered organizations in Kenya such as yours.
We would like to invite you to assign your high-potential students of your recommendation to take part in our program.

This training will run from September to November 2019 with each participant having the option to choose between any of the two modules below:

1. Career-start: for those who are starting out in their careers or looking to make a career switch. We guide you in landing the job that matters by training you on how to grow competitive skill sets that employers are looking for. 87% of Jijali trainees in previous cohorts found a job or increased their salaries.

2. Entrepreneurship: for those that want to improve their businesses or have a strong business idea that they would like to start. We ensure you have a business that customers want and set a strong foundation to make it your source of income. 73% of our former trainees attributed their business/career successes to the jijali program.

The profile of participants we are looking for;

-18 to 30 years for the entrepreneurship training

-18 to 25 years for the career start training

-Participants from all over the country are welcome

-Have access to a computer

-Have a good understanding of English (the training is delivered in English)

Kindly, follow this link to our website for more information regarding this program.

Should this be of interest to you, kindly send us a list of the names of the students of your choosing. We believe this is a great opportunity to help better the lives of many youth.  I have attached some more information about Jijali. Feel free to circulate this information among your students.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

regards,
Juliet.
B2B Marketer.
