Dear all,

Kenyatta University is among 11 Kenyan Universities developing a proposal for a pipeline project on how Universities can be supported to cope/mitigate the challenges of COVID-19, especially in areas of digital learning and specifically focusing on ICT infrastructure development.
The other universities are Daystar University, Dedan Kimathi University, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Garissa University, Kibabii University, Pwani University, South Eastern Kenya University, University of Kabianga, University of Nairobi and Zetech University.
The proposal is part of ESDA (Education for Sustainable Development in Africa)
phase 2 project in partnership with the African Development Bank aimed at promoting knowledge exchange, creation and sharing in support of Africa's sustainable development.
An online survey on the Impact Assessment of Covid-19 on teaching and research has been developed to provide baseline data that will inform proposed programmes to mitigate any future impact of the pandemic on university education.
KU staff (both in the teaching and administrative departments) and students are requested to take part in the baseline survey by filling in the form in the following link.
