Kenyatta University and OpenAQ in Washington D.C. USA signed an MOU on 31st August 2023 to collaborate on air quality-related issues. The Department of Spatial & Environmental Planning in Collaboration with partners from OpenAQ has organized a free virtual inaugural seminar on Wednesday 15th November, 2023 from 3:00-4:30 pm to create awareness among Kenyatta University students, researchers & and academic staff on opportunities within the MOU. The seminar is titled "Universal and Open Access to Air Quality Data for Research, Education Advocacy Applications." The speaker will be  Dr. Colleen Marciel F. Rosale, Strategic Partnerships Director at OpenAQ.
